About My Clients
My clients include adults, emerging adults, women, adolescents, educators, and healthcare professionals. Many people identify feelings of anxiety, depression, and uncertainty during life transitions. You are motivated, insightful, and seeking ways to regulate and process emotions so that you are empowered to live your life in the fullest, most joyful, and authentic ways possible. The work at times can be hard, scary, and also rewarding. You got this, and I gotchu!
My Background and Approach
I am licensed in MA & RI. I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University. I've worked in a variety of settings including schools, community health organizations, private practice, and hospitals. My therapeutic approach is person-centered, strength-based, and holistic. I draw on a variety of modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (cbt), mindfulness-based, trauma-informed, and post-traumatic growth. I support clients in learning lifelong skills that will ground them and build confidence to find their light and shine. I bring to my practice compassion, empathy, humor, and care. I deeply value creating safe, supportive, and non-judgmental spaces for clients to share their stories. I work from an antiracist and LGBTQIA+ affirming lens. I try to be aware of any potential biases, both for myself and clients. I appreciate and value the vulnerability it takes to engage in therapy and am ready, and honored, to partner in this work with you.
