About My Clients
I support LPC-Associates seeking ethical, direct, trauma-informed supervision. I best serve clients navigating trauma, grief, identity, relationships, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and complex family dynamics. My clinical experience includes LGBTQIA+ affirming care, adolescents, multicultural concerns, personality disorders, and higher-acuity settings.
My Background and Approach
I am a Texas Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and am also licensed as a professional counselor in Colorado and Washington. I have about 10 years of counseling experience and several years of clinical supervision experience. My background includes outpatient behavioral health, higher-acuity clinical settings, trauma-informed care, grief, adolescents, LGBTQIA+ affirming care, multicultural counseling, personality disorders, documentation, risk assessment, and clinical leadership. In therapy, I strive to create a space that is supportive, honest, and grounded in each client’s lived experience. In supervision, I help LPC-Associates build clinical confidence, strengthen ethical decision-making, improve documentation, and develop their own professional identity. My approach is warm, direct, collaborative, and focused on helping both clients and clinicians feel more equipped, supported, and clear in their next steps.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy and supervision should be affirming, ethical, culturally responsive, and grounded in the real lives of the people we serve. As a queer clinician, I am especially passionate about LGBTQIA+ affirming care, advocacy, and creating spaces where people feel seen, respected, and supported. I value social justice, trauma-informed practice, authenticity, and clinical work that honors each person’s identity, history, and strengths. I also care deeply about supporting developing clinicians as they grow into confident, ethical, and compassionate counselors.
