About My Clients
My ideal clients are individuals, couples, and families who come to therapy for many different reasons. I do not require a specific diagnosis or problem to begin. People often seek support during life transitions, relationship challenges, emotional struggles, or personal growth. I welcome those who are open to exploring their journey at their own pace in a compassionate, safe space where they feel heard and supported.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology, graduating summa cum laude from Central Michigan University, and later completed my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. My education deepened my passion for understanding people holistically and supporting meaningful growth. I have been working with A New Day since May 2025, where I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals, couples, and families through a variety of life experiences and challenges. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from my clients and grow alongside them. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and strengths-based. I integrate Adlerian principles, CBT, DBT, and the Gottman Method while remaining flexible to meet each person’s unique needs. Grounded in a Christian foundation yet welcoming to all, I strive to create a safe space where clients feel seen, valued, and supported as they move toward healing and clarity.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I find growth and insight through meaningful conversations and life experiences with people from diverse cultures and perspectives. I value taking time to listen, learn, and gently challenge my own assumptions as part of my personal and professional development. I believe counseling is a lifelong journey that requires humility, ongoing learning, reflection, and openness to change. My faith shapes my belief that God has created each person with equal value, purpose, and worth, and that expression of worth looks different for everyone. Embracing your uniqueness can help you recognize and move toward your potential. No past experience, struggle, or mistake changes my view of human value. Every person deserves dignity, compassion, and space to grow.
