I have personal and professional experience working with polyamorous and open relationship dynamics and feel excitement when helping people work through issues related to these dynamics. There are many ways to be in relationship with each other, and I respect that each person has different values and beliefs about relationships that impact the qualities of their relationships. I hope to help people align their relationships with their hearts' longings.

Sexual problems can emerge from a variety of other problems that may not be obvious. And sexuality and sexual compatibility are fluid concepts that can change as each person in a relationship changes. I harbor no judgment about sexual related problems and seek to understand the constellation of the problem to help clients create the dynamic that works best for their well-being.

Throughout my life, I have been interested in studying various spiritual disciplines mostly as a means to find the connecting threads between them. I take a broad approach to the experience of spirituality and my own spiritual experiences have informed the value I place on it in therapy. I feel especially privileged in helping clients who have experienced spiritual trauma find a path of divinity that resonates from within.

The training I have with the Hakomi method has allowed me to feel confident in creating a relaxed space in which a client feels safe enough enter into a non-ordinary state of consciousness. This space allows for sensory imagery and experiences to arise within a client's consciousness. I have found that this approach is especially effective for those feeling stuck or wanting to explore a particular feeling or experience.

A narrative therapy approach is the approach that comes most naturally to me. Stories are powerful entities and we can feel stuck, disempowered, and/or lost in stories that are no longer serving our well-being. We have the power to author new stories that align with our hopes, dreams, and preferences, and that process will look different for everyone.

Relationship therapy is the core of my orientation whether I am working with an individual or partners and families. I believe that all trauma is relational trauma and that healing occurs in relationship. Ideally, our therapeutic relationship will create the conditions for your relationships to thrive no matter what stage they are in. There is a particular magic I experience in helping people create relationships that support their greatest well-being.
