About My Clients
Finding a therapist you or your child feels comfortable with can be an intimidating process. It can be difficult to trust and open up to someone who is a stranger. I strive to provide a caring and nonjudgmental atmosphere, where clients can be heard and respected. Therapy should be a journey for both client and therapist, working through issues together. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, families and adults. My office has a fully equipped child therapy area.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in IL. I received a BA in Pscyhology from the University of Chicago and a MA in Counseling Psychology from Loyola University Chicago. I believe that clients of any age deserve caring, respectful and nonjudgmental therapy. I recognize that different age groups can require different approaches. One size, cookie cutter therapy does not respect the client and often accomplishes little. I strive to be open to client concerns and feedback as therapy is an equal partnership.
