About My Clients
I believe that one of the most courageous things you can do is to be willing to look inward. I am not the type of counselor to sit back and just nod my head while you talk. My job is to listen actively -- to step into your story with you, helping you navigate pain, grief, trauma and shame. With both, my goal is to teach you skills to continue your work outside of the hour we spend together during the week.
My Background and Approach
Calling a therapist can be scary, especially when we've been taught to DIY everything, but I hope you will take a moment to call/email to see how I can help you! As a licensed and trained Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Certified Trauma Specialist and Clinical Addiction Specialist I walk alongside my clients as they trudge through pain, trauma, grief and shame, identifying self-defeating thoughts and actions and providing tools and interventions to create lasting change. I offer EMDR as a helping tool. If you're new to seeking therapy, I am ready to help and will gently guide you through the process. I am here to offer compassionate and confidential mental health and family relationships therapy.

I believe that if you can survive the trauma, you can survive the recovery. I believe in focusing on post-traumatic growth. I believe that Black Lives Matter and Love is Love. I believe in you.
