About My Clients
I work with a variety of teens, young adults, adults, and families of all constellations. I often work with individuals from BIPOC, Latinx, LGBTQIA2-S people, People in nonmonogamous relationships, Sex workers, and Mental health professional communities who want to talk about experiences with Anxiety, Depression, PTSD & CPTSD, Religious Trauma, Coercive Control, Grief and Loss, Substance Use, Stress & Burnout, Perfectionism & Obsessive Thinking.
My Background and Approach
My goal for our time together is to over equip you with tools and information so you can stand on your own two feet. Let's get to the root of the problem, whatever it is, so we can plant something new and create the life you want. I help people from all walks of life understand what happens in their body when you get depressed, anxious, or went through something traumatic so they can use their tools to navigate when it feels like they're out of control and bring relief. I also help people navigate the uncertain road of questioning their faith or leaving a belief system. Religious trauma is a fairly new phenomena that is on the rise. I have years of experience navigating this complex issue. You're the expert on you. I'm an expert in people. Let's work together to see how we can help you achieve your goals and build a life of safety, fullness, and brilliance.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I people have to be ready for therapy. I can't make someone change. If you're ready to embark on this journey and spelunk into your own soul, I'm happy to be your guide! I believe in leaving people and places better than I found them. I believe each human is unique and incredible in their own way. The work I do is an honor and a privilege. I am LGBT and an exevangelical. I am passionate about helping others find their way through questioning their beliefs, sorting through their 'stuff', and creating a more lovely world for the future.
