About My Clients
I work with adults who are exhausted from being at war with their bodies. People in eating disorder recovery who've maybe been through treatment before and are still struggling. People carrying complex trauma who show up in the world totally functional and completely depleted. They're done with diet culture. They want real work — not symptom management dressed up as recovery.
My Background and Approach
My work sits at the intersection of eating disorder recovery and complex trauma — because in fifteen-plus years of doing this, I've rarely seen one without the other underneath. I use parts-informed therapy and inner child work as my primary framework — approaches that predate IFS and go deeper than symptom management. I'm a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS-C), Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, and Health at Every Size provider. My practice includes a Registered Dietitian on staff, because real recovery is collaborative. I don't do diet culture. I don't do weight-focused goals. I do real work, at your pace, via telehealth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm a fat-positive, queer-affirming, anti-diet therapist who believes healing happens in the context of real relationships — not just symptom checklists. I actively work against weight stigma and medical fatphobia in my clinical practice and in how I train and supervise other clinicians. I care deeply about access to weight-inclusive care, which is why I've built a practice that doesn't operate inside insurance frameworks that pathologize bodies. I'm affirming of LGBTQ+ identities, all body sizes, neurodivergence, and diverse relationship structures.
