About My Clients
Clients who ideally reach out and connect with me are womxn, LGBTIQ+ folks or professionals/leaders in health/medical/social services fields, with difficulties in relationship, family, work, community or identity. These folks are usually highly reflective and have a readiness and willingness to work on issues affecting them or their staff.
My Background and Approach
I help you identify the systemic, structural and environmental elements impacting on your situation. I specialise in viewing the person in their environment and understand the intergenerational cycles of trauma and marginalisation. I'm passionate about my specialities in domestic and family abuse, homelessness and women's health and wellbeing matters. You are the expert in your life, and our work is completely driven by and centred around you. I aim to give you optimum choice and control in our therapeutic relationship.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a proud, radical, intersectional Feminist, Queer, cis-ablebodied-white-woman. I relate to principles of Buddhism, Paganism and Hedonism, and practice somatic bodywork myself. As a child and young person, I was involved in Pentecostal and Baptist sects of Christianity, and am familiar with the belief structures and expectations within these communities. I am currently atheist, inclusive and passionate about social justice issues. I like to run, do yoga, go to gym, eat delicious food, read, go hiking, socialise, be active in the Queer community, and be outside.
