About My Clients
I work with adults who feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or emotional overwhelm. Many of my clients are navigating OCD symptoms, or the stress, grief, and uncertainty related to infertility or reproductive decisions. They are often thoughtful and self-aware, and are looking for therapy that is both emotionally attuned and structured, with clear tools they can use in daily life.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with advanced training in evidence-based treatment. For OCD, I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment designed to help people change their relationship with anxiety and intrusive thoughts in a practical, sustainable way. My work is collaborative and active, focused on building skills rather than reassurance or avoidance. I also specialize in supporting individuals facing infertility, pregnancy loss, and complex reproductive decisions. This work often involves grief, prolonged uncertainty, and a sense of being out of sync with others. Therapy is not about forcing positivity, but about creating space for the full emotional experience while helping clients stay connected to their values and sense of self. I offer in-person therapy in New York City and telehealth for adults in New York, New Jersey, and Florida.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should feel purposeful, respectful, and grounded in real life. Change does not come from insight alone, but from learning how to respond differently to difficult thoughts, emotions, and situations over time. I value honesty, clarity, and collaboration, and I aim to create a therapeutic relationship where clients feel both supported and appropriately challenged. I also believe emotional pain does not need to be minimized or rushed. Especially in areas like OCD and infertility, growth often involves making room for uncertainty while building flexibility and resilience. Therapy should help you move toward a fuller life, not wait for anxiety or grief to disappear first.
