About My Clients
I work with children/teenagers age 10+, and adults who are seeking support around things such as mood dysregulation, anxiety, stress or trauma related symptoms, relationship conflict, grief/loss, substance use.
My Background and Approach
I started out as a certified substance use counselor (CSAC) working in outpatient and residential treatment settings in NC from 2007-2011. This experience inspired me to decide to go back to school and obtain my Master's degree in Social Work, as well as my clinical and supervisor licenses (LCSW, LCAS, CCS) through the social work and addictions treatment boards in NC. The majority of my experience is in community mental health (hospital clinic, ACT team, primary care office).
