I utilize an attachment-based play therapy technique with children in session, and also enjoy exploring attachment issues in adults, as attachment wounds are often what leads to problems in adult life, especially in relationships.

I have completed training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy for the treatment of borderline personality disorder, and have experience with utilizing formal DBT therapy as well as integrating DBT skills into traditional talk therapy while utilizing other modalities. DBT is a skills-based therapy, and I also believe it is important to explore the wounds which caused our behaviors to develop.

I've completed level 1 training in SFBT and feel comfortable using this modality, especially with clients using their EAP sessions.

I've completed extensive DBT training, and went through DBT as a client several years ago. I've completed formal DBT with several clients, and bring in DBT skills informally with many clients looking for a more integrated approach.

CBT is my most-utilized treatment modality, as it is so versatile for many common client concerns.

DBT is a skills-based therapy, and I believe it is important to address the life events which caused our behavior patterns to develop, and work on healing those wounds. Therefore, I employ an integrative approach.

CBT is a comprehensive, broad treatment modality which can be useful in treating many common client concerns such as anxiety and depression.
