About My Clients
Many of the women I work with are intentional, high-functioning moms who feel overwhelmed by the mental load and realities of motherhood. On the outside, they seem to have it together, but internally feel anxious, stretched thin, or disconnected. Some are navigating postpartum anxiety, birth trauma, infertility, loss, or caring for a child with medical needs. My clients are working so hard every day to feel more grounded, present, and like themselves again. If this is you, I'd love to connect.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed therapist, certified in perinatal mental health (PMH-C) with advanced training in maternal mental health, and an EMDRIA Certified Therapist™. Before opening my practice, I worked as a trauma therapist with the military, which deeply shaped how I understand and treat stress, trauma, and the nervous system. I provide virtual therapy in California, Tennessee, and Florida, supporting women navigating motherhood, careers, and the mental load... often with a history of perfectionism. I specialize in birth trauma, postpartum anxiety, infertility, and motherhood journeys that didn’t go as expected. My approach is warm, relational, and trauma-informed. I integrate EMDR, parts work, cognitive and acceptance-based therapies, and nervous system education to help you process what you’ve been through, feel more grounded in your body, develop self-compassion, and expand your capacity to handle the demands of motherhood with more ease and clarity.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m a first-generation Latina and mother, and that lived experience deeply shapes how I show up in this work. I understand how layered motherhood can feel when you’re holding cultural expectations, strong family ties, and a desire to do things differently. I hold space for women of color, first-gen moms, and those who want therapy that honors both where they come from and who they’re becoming. My practice is inclusive and affirming of all identities, backgrounds, and family structures. I also welcome moms from all walks of life and belief systems. Whether you’re more evidence-based or more intuitive in your approach to motherhood, your choices and autonomy are respected here—including how you choose to birth and raise your children. I believe motherhood can be both meaningful and overwhelming, and that many women are carrying more than they were ever meant to carry alone. Therapy can be a space where you don’t have to hold it all together, and where you feel truly supported.
