About My Clients
I especially love working with organizers, care workers, artists, and outsiders—people who carry a lot for others and feel deeply, often while navigating threshold moments rather than full-blown crisis. You might be facing a career pivot, a relationship in flux, burnout from work that matters too much to walk away from, or simply the sense that who you've been isn't quite who you're becoming. My ideal client is curious about their own depths, willing to slow down even when life says speed up, an
My Background and Approach
My thinking is informed by IFS, somatic and depth psychology, relational psychodynamic and existential frameworks, and liberatory harm reduction. I hold a CIIS Certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy and Research and years of clinical experience in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, so I can meet you in altered states of consciousness as skillfully as I meet you in ordinary ones. I'm a Gen X therapist with 20 years of licensure, shaped by directing a healing justice organization and founding a trauma-informed organizations collective in Oakland—work that taught me pain doesn't happen in isolation from the systems we're inside of. Mutual aid, contemplative practices and racial justice and healing work inform how I show up as much as any training does.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing is inseparable from the systems we live inside—which is why my work centers organizers, care workers, and those doing justice-oriented labor that often goes unsupported or unseen or carries moral injury alongside it. My background includes directing a youth-serving healing justice organizations and founding a Bay Area trauma-informed systems center in Oakland, and I bring that lens of collective care into individual work. I value autonomy, harm reduction, and non-judgmental support around substance use and psychedelic exploration, and I'm drawn to supporting people extricating from high-control groups or systems that once held meaning but no longer serve their wholeness. I also hold a deep respect for moral injury—the toll of working within institutions that don't reflect your values—and a tenacious belief that our individual healing is central to our collective care and liberation.
