About My Clients

I have experience and passion in working with LGBTQIA+ adults, chronically ill and disabled folks, neurodivergent (ND) individuals, college mental health (college and graduate students), and trauma survivors. I love working with creatives/artists/makers and people navigating the intersections of multiple identities - race, gender, sexuality, etc. My clients are often used to living on the margins, and my hope is that in our work together, your voice will be valued and centered.

My Background and Approach

I offer integrative, compassionate, trauma-informed individual therapy for adults in Massachusetts, in addition to clinical supervision and consultation, training, and other services. I have experience working with depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, substance use and addiction, ADHD and other neurodivergent (ND) identities, chronic illness/pain, body image, relationship issues, grief/loss, and gender, racial, and other forms of identity exploration. I would love to partner with you to help you meet your goals of identity development and exploration; experience relief from symptoms of anxiety, panic, depression, etc.; better understand your own emotions, thoughts, and internal experiences; identify and disentangle difficult patterns in relationships, attachment, etc; move through grief; improve your sense of self and wellbeing in relation to others and to the world at large; and learn and integrate skills to feel more mindful and at ease in your body.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I'm a white, queer femme, neurodivergent (ADHDer) licensed clinical social worker, and practice from an inclusive, anti-oppression, trauma-informed lens. I work to create an open and collaborative therapeutic relationship to meet my clients where they're at, operating from a place of curiosity and cultural humility. I believe that Black Lives Matter; that clients are the experts on their own experiences; in the importance of supporting survivors of violence, marginalization, and oppression; and that effective therapy is about healing, liberation, and is inherently connected to social, racial, and economic justice.
