I enjoy working with children, teens, and families who may be facing challenges such as anxiety, trauma, ADHD, behavioral concerns or big life transitions. My ideal clients are those who are open to exploring new ways of coping and growing-whether they're learning to manage emotions, improve communication or build self-confidence. I work on filling my clients toolbox with practical strategies and meaningful insights to support them in their current journey.
My Background and Approach
My approach is rooted in creating a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can heal and grow. I have experience supporting clients through a range of challenges, including ADHD, anxiety, trauma, and sexual abuse. I believe in the power of collaboration and I'm committed to understanding each client’s unique needs and goals. I have worked with children and families in a variety of settings, including school-based environments and community mental health. This diverse experience has given me a comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges children and families face, enabling her to provide effective, individualized support. I believe that ongoing learning is key to providing the best care possible and empowering my clients on their journey toward healing and personal growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every person has the capacity to heal, grow and create meaningful change in their life. My approach is client-centered and strength-based. I focus on building a safe, supportive relationship where clients feel seen, heard and empowered. I view therapy as a collaborative journey, where we work together to uncover strength, build resilience and navigate life's challenges. My role isn't to "fix" but to walk alongside you, offering support, insight and encouragement along the way. Outside of the therapy room I enjoy spending time in the kitchen baking and trying out new recipes. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it's going for a walk, exploring a trail, or simply soaking up some fresh air. Nature helps me stay grounded and recharged.
