About My Clients
I work with individuals, teens and couples dealing with issues including ineffective communication, spiritual struggles, depression, anxiety, behavioral problems, high stress, perfectionism, divorce, fertility issues and more. If you are struggling with worrying too much, feeling down all the time, connecting with your young adult, unsure how to co-parent, need help with saving your relationship, or are just looking to make changes in your life, I can help.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed clinical psychologist who has practiced in a variety of settings since 2010 including; in community mental health, individual therapy, intensive in-home family therapy, college counseling and couples counseling. My experiences, coupled with his educational background with a doctorate in psychology from William James College, a Masters of Counseling and a Masters of Divinity from Gordon-Cornwell Theological Seminary, have helped me develop an integrative approach to helping each person who finds their way into the InProcess Counseling office. Additionally, I have completed the Level 1 Training in the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy. I work from a trauma-informed perspective and believe your past, present, and future play a role in your process. I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral, Narrative, Family-System, and Psycho-Dynamic therapies to help you on your journey.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a member of the Antiochian Eastern Orthodox Church. I also was trained in the relational cultural model of therapy as an intern at Wellesley College. I practice from a model that is open and affirming to all genders, races, and forms or preferences of sexuality.
