Jeffrey Mandelkorn (he/his)

completed my bachelor’s of science degree at the University of Florida, which was an amazing experience. I took advantage of various opportunities to participate in research groups, as well as worked closely with a psychology graduate student at the time. I left college with a sense of determination and excitement that carried me through graduate school. I obtained my PhD in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University. During my graduate training, I worked under several supervisors and faculty who helped me refine my clinical approach and instilled confidence in me. I maintain a relationship with Nova Southeastern University to this day, where I serve as a clinical supervisor for current pre-doctoral psychology trainees.

My draw to psychology and personal growth was undoubtedly forged in my childhood. As the youngest of three, my main task involved mediating between my older siblings, being the voice of calm and reason. Psychology classes put words and definitions to the familiar experiences, and my love for the practice of psychotherapy was born. The potential for growth and change, resiliency, and the intricacies of our history’s impact on our present day, these phenomena sparked a passion in me. A passion to be part of these amazing components of humanity and help others find their strengths and potentials. My pride and passion show through my work, and I feel fortunate to be able to derive fulfillment from helping others.
