The biggest thing I value personally is justice. What I mean by that, is that I am always thinking about what is just and fair in my personal life whether that errs in my favor or not. I take this into my practice as well when addressing issues that my clients may face and what is considered ethical and helpful for my clients. My goal is not to force clients to adhere to my own ethical standards but to look inward about their own values and ethics, and the driving forces in their lives. I feel this will help them achieve both positive results in therapy and positive changes in their life outside of why they may have come to therapy as well.

I identify as a masculine-presenting, pansexual, cis-man and use the pronouns he/him/his. I also identify as caucasian, a germanic polytheist, and polyamorous. In the adjacent spheres I consider myself sex/kink-positive, and a sex worker ally and rights advocate. These have also helped enrich my understanding of different clients and given me additional supportive knowledge in working with others within these communities as well. I especially think my personal background in non-monogamy has aided in me understanding the dynamics of relational communication, relationship issues, and struggles of both finding and maintaining one or more partners and the challenges that come with them while also not losing yourself. I knew when I graduated that my focus would be serving under-represented or much needed communities and that continues to be my goal while trying to also earn a living.
