About My Clients
I am a licensed psychotherapist specializing in anxiety, addiction, gay male relationships, and sexuality. With years of experience supporting individuals in recovery and those navigating complex identity, intimacy, and relational dynamics, my work is rooted in both clinical expertise and real-world understanding. My approach is affirming, sex-positive, and trauma-informed. I help clients explore the intersection of mental health, recovery, and sexuality in a safe and nonjudgmental space.
My Background and Approach
My professional background includes extensive experience working with individuals facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, and ADHD. I have also supported clients dealing with substance and alcohol use disorders, as well as alternative addictions. In addition, I help individuals navigate relational difficulties and the stress that often accompanies major life transitions. My approach is grounded in providing compassionate, tailored support to empower clients in overcoming obstacles and fostering personal growth. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Chemical Dependency Counselor, and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist. My training in mental health, addiction, and sexual health helps clients address patterns at the root, not just the surface. With extensive experience in LGBTQIA+ care, recovery, and relationships, I offer practical, compassionate support that helps you understand yourself more fully and create meaningful, lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m an active member of the LGBTQIA+ community, and much of my work is rooted in advocacy for queer and trans wellbeing, mental health visibility, and reducing stigma around addiction and sexual health. I value harm reduction, body autonomy, and inclusive spaces where people can speak freely without fear of judgment. I support community-based recovery initiatives, LGBTQIA+ rights, trauma-informed care, and expanding access to affirming mental health services.
