About My Clients

My Background and Approach
You have taken a brave first step by seeking help and I am so glad you're here. Once we begin your therapeutic journey, you will learn essential skills and techniques to manage your emotional responses to every-day stressors. You will find yourself feeling motivated to progress, optimistic about the future, and eager to live life as your true self. As a counselor, I strongly believe in my client’s self-autonomy. You are the person you know best. My role is to walk by your side through your personal journey. I am ready to support you as you identify your counseling goals and I am eager to coach you on coping techniques and strategies that will help you reach these goals. I allow my clients to discuss any past traumas as they pertain to their current stressors but I also gently steer my clients back to their present day situation to refocus on their current goals. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a hispanic, bilingual, and first generation child born into an immigrant family from Mexico, I am extremely proud of my roots and I am honored to serve under-represented populations in both English and Spanish. As a Queer man, I am a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ family. I am passionate about helping my queer brothers, sisters, non-binary, and gender fluid individuals through their unique emotional journeys. I also believe it is of the utmost importance to serve the family members and allies of the LGBTQIA+ community as they join their queer loved ones on this journey. I focus on treating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, anger management, chemical dependency, LGBTQIA+ issues, abuse, domestic violence, immigration stressors, cultural and racial issues just to name a few. I greatly look forward to serving you as a guide as you process your mental health needs. I am here to actively listen to your unique story and offer you a safe space to express yourself in a judgment free zone.
