About My Clients
My clients want to be better. Some of them have issues that produce anxiety and stress related problems Others have painful and confusing relationships. Some cope with this issues with addictive behaviors. Some of these issues may be new; some have been going on for a while. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist/ Nationally Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist I have been practicing therapy for 37 years. I am using teletherapy to be able to reach out to people through out the area
My Background and Approach
I use many models for therapy. Some of them are cognitive, some are behavioral, others utilize an integrated mind-body approach. I am an active communicator during therapy sessions. We will have conversations about the problems and issues that you want to solve. I am practicing therapy via telehealth My clients typically appreciate my sense of humor which gives them the opportunity to laugh at their own behaviors . Laughter provides them with the awareness they need for the first steps of change. Since all people are unique and diverse, I tailor my therapeutic style to use a person's unique strengths in order to help them make change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
People have the ability to make the changes that they want. My values and beliefs are the same ones that I started with many years ago; that is that regardless of what ethnic, culture, race, gender etc you belong to, we can work together to make lasting changes in your life.
