About My Clients
Struggling with ADHD, OCD, or anxiety? I help children, teens, and adults with practical strategies that ease symptoms. Many are students or professionals balancing stress and responsibilities. Together we focus on small, realistic changes that reduce overwhelm, build confidence, and help you feel back in control of your life.
My Background and Approach
With over 35 years of experience, including training at McLean Hospital, a Harvard Teaching Hospital, I bring both expertise and compassion to therapy. My approach is eclectic — I draw from different evidence‑based methods, including CBT and mindfulness practices, to tailor sessions to each client’s needs. I’ve worked extensively in schools and universities, including 18 years supporting college students at Lawrence Technological University in Michigan. Whether you’re managing symptoms of ADHD, OCD, or anxiety, or navigating stress, mood concerns, or life transitions, I focus on practical strategies you can use every day. I am licensed to provide therapy in Michigan and, through an interstate compact agreement among participating states, I can also see clients virtually in 43 states across the U.S.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be inclusive, respectful, and accessible. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and identities, and my practice is grounded in acceptance and compassion. I value education and lifelong learning, both for myself and for the people I work with. I support causes that expand access to mental health care and reduce stigma around seeking help. I believe small changes can create meaningful progress, and I encourage clients to approach growth with curiosity and patience.
