About My Clients

Many of my clients are professionals, creatives, and leaders who appear successful on the outside but feel pressure, burnout, or disconnection beneath the surface. I work with many gay men and LGBTQ+ adults navigating identity, intimacy, and belonging, as well as individuals seeking more confidence, healthier relationships, and better balance between ambition and personal life.

My Background and Approach

Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than 30 years in corporate leadership roles within high-pressure environments. That experience gives me a deep understanding of workplace expectations, ambition, and the emotional toll that performance culture can take on relationships and personal well-being. As a biracial gay man, I also bring lived experience around identity, belonging, and what it can feel like to navigate different worlds at once. My approach is warm, direct, and conversational. I believe therapy should feel like an honest dialogue with someone you trust who will also challenge you to grow. In our work together, we’ll explore relationship patterns, family dynamics, boundaries, and the ways stress or expectations may be shaping your life. I draw from practical tools such as cognitive behavioral strategies, mindfulness, and relational insight to help clients build clarity, confidence, and stronger connections in both their personal and professional lives.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe people are not defined by the problems they carry or the roles they’ve had to play in life. Many of us learn to adapt to pressure, expectations, or environments that don’t always allow our full selves to show up. Therapy can offer a space to slow down, reflect, and begin separating who you truly are from the stress, stories, or assumptions that may have built up over time. I also believe meaningful change happens through honest conversation, curiosity, and a willingness to look at patterns in relationships, family dynamics, and the way we relate to ourselves. My goal is to create a space where clients feel safe enough to speak openly and supported enough to challenge old patterns. With insight, practical tools, and compassion, people can move toward lives that feel more authentic, connected, and aligned with their values.
