About My Clients
I tend to work with individuals who desire a safe and supportive space to navigate challenges, develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships, and create meaningful change. Life can be overwhelming at times and having a space and time set aside with a trained professional can help immensely. I treat people experiencing a wide range of challenges anywhere from depression, anxiety, life transitions, challenging relationships, and overall just feeling stuck.
My Background and Approach
My approach is empathetic and compassionate. I work collaboratively with my clients to help them achieve their goals and to discover, and express, their authentic selves. Therapy, and healing, can feel like serious work at times but it can also be fun, deep, and refreshing. I feel that it is important to bring an element of joy to my work as we explore challenges you may be experiencing. I believe that it is important that clients feel safe within the therapeutic relationship and that they trust their therapist with the depths of their being. I earned my masters degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles and received psychodynamic training from The Maple Counseling Center. I am also a certified mindfulness meditation instructor and used to teach mindfulness in schools throughout Los Angeles before becoming a therapist.
