About My Clients
Every day, we fill our lives with busyness, constant tasks, and distractions, sometimes as a way to avoid facing deeper truths. Therapy offers a space to bring awareness to these patterns and use them more consciously. I work primarily with adults navigating relationships, health, career, and questions of identity. I support clients managing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and general distress tolerance, helping them develop awareness, resilience, and skills.
My Background and Approach
I believe that at our core, we all long to be seen, known, and loved. The simple act of noticing and embracing all parts of ourselves is a powerful form of self-love. My hope is that through therapy, you can learn to love yourself so that you can, in turn, love others better. My approach is collaborative and relational, integrating ACT, CBT, person-centered, and psychodynamic techniques to support intentional change. I also draw on somatic, or body-based, approaches to help clients understand how emotions and experiences are held in the body. I graduated with a Master of Arts in Counseling from Northwestern University. Before transitioning into the mental health field, I studied mathematics at Boston College and worked as a data science consultant in New York City. As an Asian American, I bring perspective from navigating career, culture, and identity, which informs my understanding of the pressures many clients face today.
