About My Clients
I work best with individuals and families who are ready to explore how the past may still be impacting their present—especially those navigating life after adoption, foster care, or involvement in the child welfare system. Many of my clients are seeking support in building connection, trust, and emotional safety, both within themselves and in their relationships.
My Background and Approach
I have over 20 years of experience working in supportive behavioral health roles, including advocacy at a domestic violence shelter and case management. I then returned to college and completed my master's in 2023, enabling me to support clients on a deeper level. I utilize proven tools to suit each client’s needs best. Some of my chosen therapies include: Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR), Life Stress Reduction (LSR), Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT), Polyvagal Techniques,
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe the answers are inside of you, but so often we cannot get out of our own way. With the tools to manage your nervous system and analyze your negative thoughts, you can find the calm and meet your goals. Change is difficult, but not out of reach if you are open to trying something different.
