About My Clients
The adults and couples I work with often arrive after something has cracked things open: a milestone birthday, a divorce, a death, a diagnosis. And underneath it is a quieter, harder question: is this really my life? I welcome LGBTQIA+ clients and those practicing consensual non-monogamy. I have a particular love for working with emerging and seasoned therapists. People who may be successful, capable, deeply attuned to others, and still feel disconnected in ways that are difficult to explain.
My Approach to Helping
My approach is Jungian and depth-oriented. We focus on understanding what your symptoms are pointing to: a life transition, a relationship that's shifting, a dream that keeps returning, a belief system you're outgrowing or finding your way back into. We pay close attention to what's happening beneath the surface, because that's often where the real information lives. In Jungian depth work, dreams are treated as meaningful messages from the unconscious, not random noise. They often point to what's stirring underneath before you're consciously aware of it, and can be especially helpful when you feel stuck. This work is trauma-informed, and takes seriously how family, culture, and religion shape which parts of ourselves get expressed and which get hidden. Above all, I aim to be a steady, genuinely curious presence while you turn toward what's been asking for your attention. I offer in-person sessions in Newport Beach as well as online throughout California.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
All of who you are is welcome here. I understand the need to define the self and relationships beyond the inherited stories of how life should look, and have been in a polyam relationship for many years. I understand religious trauma and I honor the many paths to inner peace and authenticity, whether or not they include a spiritual tradition, divination practice, or community. I offer affirming care for monogamous and non-monogamous relationships, and for LGBTQIA+ clients. My favorite ways to recharge are reading fairy tales from around the world, watching Dropout tv, being outside, and spoiling my dog.
