I completed my Masters Degree at UMAB, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During college, I completed two years of internships. Prior to graduation, I also worked on the Statewide Crisis Hotline, and for Grassroots Shelter while raising my two children. Upon graduation, I completed an additional two years of supervised experience and passed two state board exams to obtain my LCSW-C.
For decades after college, I put in the hard work of learning about mental health, about people, and about what really works to help them, by being a psychotherapist on various interdisciplinary teams. My clinical knowledge and training are consistently updated through seminars and networking.
I provide therapy for ages 16 and up. The modalities I utilize are backed by research and are proven effective to process emotions, overcome challenges, develop strengths and coping skills. I have been successful with individuals, groups and families from diverse backgrounds, life stages and areas of need.
