My Background and Approach
My treatment approach is grounded in Person-Centered Therapy, recognizing that each individual is the expert on their own life and experiences. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and goals. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful growth and lasting change. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier perspectives, and build practical coping skills for managing anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. I also incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which encourages clients to develop psychological flexibility, accept difficult emotions without becoming overwhelmed by them, and take meaningful action aligned with their values.
