Life can be tough. Balancing relationships, work, family, and fun takes a lot of work. Maybe you need help better understanding yourself or your family dynamics. Perhaps you spend too much time worrying. It could be that you feel like things in your life are just out of alignment. Or you might need new parenting tricks to bring more peace to your family. Whatever your need, I can help you and your family gain the tools you need to restore balance to your life.
My Background and Approach
I'm an intuitive and optimistic counselor who helps teens, adults and parents to bring more stability, balance, success, and confidence to their lives. I use a combination of talk therapy, psychoeducation and creative techniques to help my clients learn, grow and heal and find more balance in their lives. You've read the books, listened to the podcasts, seen the Instagram and Tik-Tok posts, but things just still aren't quite right. Sometimes it takes another step to make the general information make sense for you and your life. You might need to explore the things in your life that aren't gratifying or in agreement with your values. We will work together to help you make some changes so you can find a more fulfilling and aligned life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I use a lot of humor, practical strategies and brain science in my work. I believe that our core beliefs and families of origin drive a lot of why we do what we do. Those don't always match up with what feels authentic, and when we live life out of alignment, problems tend to arise. I also believe that play is a vital part of life for everyone, no matter the age. Play can help create healthier relationships, relieve stress, and bring more joy to life. It's been a huge part of my life since I was a little one, and I try to include it each day. Some of my favorite ways to play include bike riding, board games, trivia, yoga, and any activity at the beach (paddle-boarding is my current favorite). In our work together, we will problem-solve, learn, laugh and probably cry to help you become more confident and calmer.
