About My Clients

My Background and Approach
I have over 25 years of experience in working in the counseling field. In a variety of settings with a variety of populations. I have also have had a variety of vocational experiences over the past 35 years. I have 15 years of personal experience and knowledge in advocating for my son and others to locate services, supports and basic rights within the community of simi valley, such as with the public school system and local regional center. I have been in private practice since 2010. My clients present with relationship problems, depression, anxiety, life transitions due to divorce, illness, moving, marriage, new child, new career, and loss of a loved one. Asking for help is one of the bravest acts anyone can take. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’ve been helping individuals in California for the past 27 years. My background includes clinical experience in psychology, parenting, advocacy, family dynamics, counseling, and therapy. As a result, I am able to help my clients uncover what blocks them from reaching their full potential. My clients consistently show an excellent treatment success rate. From reaching their goals to receiving on-going support, they report that I am effective in helping them improve their lives. I am able to do this partly by continual education and research, as well as my ability to customize a treatment plan to meet each individual’s needs. I am a passionate in helping you locate hidden strengths, resources, and purpose in order to support your healing while meeting your goals, both individually and in your relationship.
