About My Clients

Do you often feel overwhelmed, stuck in cycles of anxiety, burnout, or self-doubt? Are relationships, life transitions, trauma, or neurodiversity-related challenges leaving you feeling exhausted or misunderstood? I work with teens and adults who are looking to better understand themselves, improve emotional regulation, strengthen communication skills, and develop healthier coping strategies. Together, we create a supportive, nonjudgmental space focused on healing, growth, and meaningful change.

My Background and Approach

I work with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, trauma, burnout, relationship stress, and neurodiversity-related challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD. My goal is to help clients build practical coping strategies and emotional regulation skills they can use in everyday life. I integrate evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and strengths-based therapy. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in both Maine and Maryland, and I have been a Registered Art Therapist since 2021, earning my Board Certification (ATR-BC) in 2026. Together, we work to better understand patterns, strengthen communication and coping skills, and create meaningful, sustainable change in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe people have the ability to grow, heal, and better understand themselves at any stage of life. Many of the ways we cope with stress, relationships, emotions, or trauma develop as protective strategies over time, and therapy can help create awareness, self-compassion, and healthier ways of responding. I value authenticity, curiosity, emotional safety, and meeting people where they are without judgment. My approach is neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, and supportive of LGBTQIA+ individuals and diverse identities and life experiences. I believe therapy should feel collaborative and empowering, while also providing practical tools that support meaningful change outside of sessions. Outside of therapy, I value creativity, nature, mindfulness, and finding balance in everyday life. I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported as they work toward healing and growth.
