About My Clients
I help couples learn a more efficient way to communicate their needs and emotions. Through collaborative work, intercultural couples will find out how to utilize their cultural differences to design a more compassionate and integrative atmosphere for their relationship. I also treat teenagers and adults for PTSD, grief, life transitions, and trauma-related symptoms such as anxiety and depression. Therapy is available in person and online.
My Background and Approach
I have worked with individuals from different cultures and walks of life. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional for complex trauma trained in attachment therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), I have helped people find relief from trauma-related symptoms, PTSD, phobias, depression, anxiety, grief, addictions, performance inhibition, and other types of emotional distress. I also use Emotionally Focused Therapy to help couples learn new tools to replace toxic cycles with more positive and constructive interaction strategies while improving their communication style and overall marital satisfaction.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a Christian therapist, I believe that everyone is created for a unique purpose, but traumatic experiences can sometimes lead them into dark places. I value freedom, family, boundaries, healthy relationships, spirituality, and the right to pursue a fulfilling life. I’m passionate about working with young people, inspiring them to reach their full potential. My approach with couples focuses on their strengths, always recognizing the inherent potential within each partner to change undesirable behaviors, become mindful of the other one’s needs, and contribute to the rebuilding of a more satisfying relationship.
