The clients I serve are managing a diversity of wellness topics. Those include managing anxiety, depression, work-stress, parenting, multicultural / racial concerns and trauma.
My Background and Approach
My experience has reinforced a fundamental belief: you are the expert on yourself. In sessions, you can expect a space where your investment in yourself is honored with active and thoughtful engagement. We’ll address the root causes of concerns like burnout, depression, anger, anxiety, relationship concerns, compulsions, or disordered eating. Often, these issues are linked to factors like high expectations, self-worth, emptiness, trauma, or an unformed identity - so that's where we will spend time. Although these topics can be tough, I also think it's important to be conversational, connect as people, and laugh.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I work from a feminist and multi-cultural lens and believe it's important to integrate the impact of systemic oppression or marginalization to build full self-insight. I proudly support the LGBTQIA+ community. I also believe spirituality and faith of all forms can be very useful in the therapeutic process.
