About My Clients
It’s okay to feel stuck. We all dwell on our mistakes and difficulties. But it’s important to draw a line, beyond which we stop dwelling and begin acting to improve our emotional, mental, and physical health. Progress doesn’t always look the way we want it to and that’s okay. This is why we set goals for ourselves so when we reach those goals, we can look back or be still in the moment and see the progressions along the way. Making progress and being in a better space than we were is the goal.
My Background and Approach
As your therapist, my primary goal is to support you when you feel stuck and encourage your progress to a healthier mindset. It can be overwhelming to speak with someone about the most vulnerable moments of your life. I specialize in a person-centered approach that focuses on your strengths and the ways you want to grow. I use therapeutic approaches, such as; Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy and I believe the best approach focuses on person-centered language where the person comes before the situation.
