About My Clients
Do you struggle with people-pleasing behaviors, perfectionism, interpersonal conflict, and/or self-image? Do you struggle with anxious or depressive thoughts that you can't seem to shake? Perhaps you've been dealt a difficult hand in life starting back in childhood where you had to develop coping skills that no longer serve you. If you are ready to develop your self-awareness and understanding of yourself and how you relate to others, I look forward to working with you.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with individuals ages 18 and older, couples, and families. My areas of specialty include mood disorders; traumatic stress disorders; stress management; Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder management, relationship conflict between partners/spouses, family, and friends; and child protection services (CPS)-related cases. I am trained in Motivational Interviewing, neurobiological effects of trauma, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Forward-Facing Trauma Therapy, CBT, solution-focused brief therapy, and integrative therapy. I am dedicated to helping each person I work with on their healing and wellness journey, so they can live their best life. I practice from a client-centered, strength-based, holistic approach. I incorporate multi-media psychoeducation, productive feedback, exercises, and resources on an ongoing basis. You are the driver and I am the GPS on your journey to a better you!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a proud native of the San Francisco Bay Area. Being from such a culturally, ethnically, and socially diverse area has afforded me great opportunities to extensively immerse myself in hands-on work serving and working alongside diverse populations. As a culturally affirming and responsive practitioner, I am intentional to incorporate my clients’ cultural strengths. I respectfully seek to understand my clients’ cultural lenses from which they view the systems they operate in and presenting issues involved. As a clinical social worker, I approach therapy from a person-in-environment perspective. I believe it is important to understand how a person's experience within their environment impacts their overall health and well-being. As a trained expert in child welfare services, I understand the strengths and deficits within the system and am dedicated to advocating for the children and families involved.
