About My Clients
Unexpected changes, major transitions, or painful memories can sometimes make life feel overwhelming keep us from feeling at peace. Many of us have learned to disconnect from ourselves in order to “make it,” and we can find it hard to stay connected to the people in our lives. We will work together to help you reconnect with yourself, others, and joy. In individual therapy, I work with adults and am currently only offering telehealth. I prioritize the needs of Black women and other BIPOC folks.
My Background and Approach
As a therapist, I offer a gentle space for people to work through life challenges from a holistic, strengths-based, culturally-informed perspective. We will work together to explore the different parts of who you are and understand what you need from the therapeutic process. I use an eclectic approach to therapy, incorporating the use of several psychological theories, as well as mindfulness practices and psychoeducation. It’s an honor to be invited into the lives of people during vulnerable times, and it's a joy to witness the healing and growth of the people I work with.
