I utilize a form of psychodynamic therapy called Adlerian counseling that concentrates on ones' form of belonging among social circles, such as friends, family, work, school, and many others. When family dynamics and exploration is desired, a family genogram is created to supplement sessions. As our actions reflect our thoughts, exploring ways that a person overcompensates or experiences inferiority helps to shape internal dialogues and express oneself authentically.

I explore internal dialogue that falls under unhelpful ways of thinking about a situation, person, or environment. Clients acknowledge what motivates them and how thoughts are experienced, allowing development of coping strategies and greater insight to reevaluate situations more effectively. Additionally, former fears and worries become more approachable to explore in a safe space.

Internal Family Systems is a holistic and exploratory approach that engages with parts of ourselves that harbor feelings of guilt and shame, as well as how to cope with challenges or stresses that stem from trauma or feelings of inadequacy. By understanding parts language, clients gain ways to harmonize internal parts of ourselves that are divided in thoughts, feelings, and beliefs.

When working with clients with LGBTQ issues, lived experiences can make a huge difference for clients looking to feel understood without fear of judgement or rejection. As a queer trans nonbinary clinician, I navigate this topic with sensitivity and intention while providing a safe space to discuss and explore all aspects of your identity.

I provide a space for clients to ease worries and internal struggles while navigating strategies and coping skills to manage intense emotions and thoughts.

Therapists are caretakers who also need a space to express freely without concerns of judgement or restriction on oneself. I offer support to therapists while acknowledging their background to promote a healthy environment, coping skills, and permission to seek respite during their busy lives.
