About My Clients
I work with gay, queer, and bi men—and straight men seeking an affirming space—who are navigating identity, relationships, life transitions, or the effects of trauma. If you’re looking for a supportive, non-judgmental space to reflect, make sense of your experiences, and explore who you want to be, I can help. I also offer a harm-reduction approach for those rethinking their relationship with substances, meeting you where you are.
My Background and Approach
I’m certified in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and trained in Brainspotting, and I’ve studied spirituality, grief, forgiveness, and purposeful living at the University of Minnesota’s Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality & Healing. Drawing on lived experience and professional training shaped by life’s challenges, I bring a mind-body-spirit perspective that blends trauma-informed care, humor, and the occasional well-placed profanity. I use these tools to help you manage stress, navigate difficult emotions, process challenging experiences, and deepen self-understanding—all in a grounded, human way that supports growth and self-exploration.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Wit, humor, and a dash of irreverence are part of who I am—and yes, they show up in therapy. You can expect empathy, curiosity, and a no-BS approach, with space to explore challenges, reflect, and experiment with new ways of being. Outside of sessions, I love walking the Cities with my dog Eli, listening to country or EDM, binging podcasts, practicing yin yoga, or spending time in nature.
