About My Clients
I work with individuals on a variety of issues that includes grief & loss, anxiety, low-mood/depressIon, and substance use. I have a lot of experience working with young folx between the ages of 16-24, but also working with adults of all ages. I believe a trusting, safe, and caring therapeutic relationship is the foundation to helping people and I strive to create this space for every client.
My Background and Approach
I have completed his Masters in Clinical Social Work degree from St. Catherine’s University in 2021 and I’m a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW). I have over ten years working in the helping profession. My experience ranges from working as an Associate Director in a treatment center for adults struggling with substance use disorders, to individual and group therapy for youth, along with working with youth experiencing homelessness in the Twin Cities.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I firmly believe in creating a welcoming, safe, trusting, and warm space for all clients. I recognize the complexities of challenges people face, and strive to grow in partnership with every client. I aim to give clients the tools and support to overcome their obstacles and to achieve their goals, all while living up to their full potential.
