About My Clients
I work with adolescents (15+), young adults (18–29), and adults of all ages. Many of my clients are navigating work stress and burnout, anxiety, depression, or relationship challenges. I also have particular experience with young adults facing the pressures of independence, identity development, dating, and career direction during and after college, as well as clients working through adult ADHD, past trauma, and major life transitions.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience providing individual psychotherapy. I hold a Psy.D. from California Southern University and a Master of Science in Counseling from California State University, Northridge. My approach is integrative — I don't believe in one-size-fits-all treatment. Depending on what a client needs, I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Exposure Therapy, and Behavioral Activation. I'm also a trained Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher, which shapes how I think about the connection between the body and mind in treatment. Outside individual sessions, I contributed a full mindfulness curriculum to the Evenflow app and previously provided psychotherapy and mindfulness instruction at the Center for Mindful Living in Los Angeles.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when it's collaborative, not prescriptive. My role isn't to hand you a formula — it's to understand what's actually going on for you and build a plan that fits your life, not a generic template. I also believe healing isn't purely cognitive. How we treat our bodies — sleep, movement, stress regulation — shapes how we feel just as much as how we think. I try to help clients build small, sustainable habits alongside the deeper emotional work, because insight without follow-through rarely creates lasting change. Above all, I believe people are more resilient than they often give themselves credit for. My job is to help you access that resilience, not create it from scratch — most of my clients already have more capacity for change than they realize when they walk in.
