About My Clients

If you're chronically ill, disabled, or caregiving, you shouldn't have to explain yourself to your therapist. I get it firsthand. I work with adults navigating the emotional weight of unpredictable health, identity shifts, and caregiver burnout. I also support people through grief, anxiety, depression, divorce, and co-parenting. My practice is virtual and in-person. You don't have to perform wellness here. Just show up.

My Background and Approach

As a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, I bring both clinical training and lived experience to my work. I understand chronic illness and disability from the inside — which means you won't spend your sessions educating me on what it actually feels like to navigate an unpredictable body or a world that wasn't designed with you in mind. My approach is rooted in humanistic, narrative, and psychodynamic principles; honoring your whole story, exploring how it shapes you, and working toward meaning and agency. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy, so I draw from multiple modalities to fit what you actually need. I'm also a parent, which informs my work with caregivers, co-parenting clients, and anyone carrying the weight of loving someone while trying to survive yourself. My specialties include chronic illness, disability, caregiver support, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, divorce, and co-parenting. Whether you're in crisis or quietly exhausted, I'll meet you where you are.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I came to therapy through a career in documentary and social justice filmmaking, work that put me in rooms with people whose stories deserved to be told with honesty and dignity. That commitment didn't go away when I changed careers. It just found a new form. I am a staunch LGBTQ+ ally and believe affirming care isn't optional. It's foundational. Social justice isn't a talking point for me. It's woven into how I see people, systems, and suffering. Many of the struggles clients bring to therapy aren't personal failures. They're the result of systems that were never built for them. Whoever you are, whatever you carry, you belong in this space.
