About My Clients
I have trained in college counseling settings and with young adults navigating challenges of identity and autonomy. I also practice in a community mental health clinic. This work can take time, and so my clients tend to meet with me for longer-term interventions.
My Background and Approach
I work from a psychodynamic, relational perspective - I believe change happens through genuine connection. I bring deep listening, genuine curiosity about your experience, and a collaborative approach that helps you discover strengths you might not know you have. In addition to my therapeutic training, I have a background in the arts, and enjoy working with creative people who are facing the struggles and pressures of living life as an artist. I also have specialized training and certification in treating trauma and PTSD. Our work together will be about exploring all the parts of you - the messy and the sublime - and making meaning of it all.
