About My Clients
I specialize in trauma, especially attachment-based, emotional trauma. I work with all genders, and primarily work with teens and the adult population. I work with all diagnosis - including depression anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders.
My Background and Approach
Since graduating with my Master's of Social Work in 2018, i have been working in community mental health. As a result, i gained experience and a wealth of knowledge around a multitude of diagnosis, and also developed an individualized approach to therapy. I have been trained in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy[AEDP], and in tandem use Psychodynamic therapy to address core emotional wounds that inform trauma, depression, anxiety, and etc.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a Christian social worker that struggles with bipolar II. As a provider, i never impose my faith onto others, yet my faith informs how i practice - how to love in my work. As one who also struggles with a mental health diagnosis, i don't assume i understand everything you go through, but am able to empathize and share in the recovery process.
