About My Clients
I work with teens, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, LGBTQ+ identity, and childhood trauma. My clients often seek a safe and affirming space to feel understood as they make sense of their past and move toward meaningful change. Whether you’re managing stress, facing relationship challenges, or struggling with self-worth, I’ll meet you with compassion, curiosity, and practical tools to support your growth.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Manhattan University. My approach blends psychodynamic therapy and CBT, combining insight-oriented exploration with skills for everyday challenges. I aim to create an affirming and collaborative environment where you feel supported and understood. Together, we’ll explore how your past shapes your present, while also building coping strategies to manage stress, strengthen relationships, and navigate life transitions. I integrate techniques from humanistic therapy, person-centered approaches, and Internal Family Systems, tailoring treatment to your unique needs. My work is grounded in empathy, respect, and curiosity about your story. Whether you are processing trauma, managing anxiety or depression, or exploring identity, my goal is to provide a warm, inclusive space where meaningful growth and lasting change feel possible.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the ability to grow, heal, and create change no matter where they are starting from. I don’t see people as “broken,” but as doing their best with the tools they’ve had, and I believe therapy can offer new ways of coping and connecting. I believe that shame and silence keep us stuck, and that real healing comes from being seen, accepted, and understood. I make it a point to provide an affirming, nonjudgmental space, especially for LGBTQ+ folks and anyone who’s ever felt like they didn’t quite fit in.
