About My Clients
Are you a medical professional and experience increased stress and anxiety while at work? Do you get triggered when you feel reminded of something that happened in the past? You find yourself feeling very overwhelmed at work with an anxious feeling in your stomach and fear of doing things wrong?. You want a space to help you to be more kind to yourself so you aren't judging yourself harshly all the time. You want to feel less anxious ad overwhelmed and enjoy your work.
My Background and Approach
In my sessions, I help my clients navigate their thoughts and emotions to come to a place of greater understanding of self using reality and solution oriented therapy. Together, we can utilize the art of mindfulness in your practices that will help you understand your feelings and emotions better so you are feeling more in control of your life. I support men of color like you in navigating your thoughts & emotions to gain a greater understanding of yourself. We will explore and fine-tune your perception of the world around you to unlock new opportunities. Mindfulness is implemented in my work with men suffering from addiction, anxiety and stress. I look forward to helping you to rewrite a new story. As an addiction therapist, I work with youth and families struggling to manage recovery, as well as other forms of addiction.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We can work together to help you manage the things in your life that are taking you away from experiencing your true potential and introduce you to other ways of coping and managing your thoughts. As a child, I remember daydreaming about becoming a counselor one day. I found myself resolving conflicts with my peers and people would always call me for advice to help them deal with issues happening in their lives.
