About My Clients
I work best with adolescents and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, identity exploration, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself, therapy can be a space to better understand your experiences, develop healthier coping strategies, and build lasting resilience. My goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered throughout your healing journey.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Master's degree in Community and Trauma Counseling from Thomas Jefferson University and provide trauma-informed, evidence-based care tailored to each client's unique needs. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in schools, community settings, and private practice. I integrate approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and somatic-based interventions to help clients process trauma, strengthen emotional regulation, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others. I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative, affirming, and grounded in safety. Together, we'll identify your strengths, work through barriers, and develop practical tools that support meaningful, lasting growth both inside and outside of therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens through authentic connection, curiosity, and compassion. As a transgender man and member of the LGBTQ+ community, I understand how important it is to have a therapist who provides an affirming, judgment-free space where every part of your identity is welcomed. I'm passionate about creating an environment where clients feel safe enough to be themselves as they explore difficult emotions and experiences. My work is rooted in cultural humility, trauma-informed care, and the belief that everyone has the capacity for growth and healing. I strive to meet clients where they are, honoring their lived experiences while helping them build confidence, resilience, and hope. Whether you're processing past trauma or navigating present-day challenges, my goal is to walk alongside you with empathy, authenticity, and respect.
