The relationship between clinician and client is the heart of every session and every treatment plan. My education focused on person-centered therapy and while I utilize aspects of several modalities of therapy, my connection to clients engenders trust, and in a trusting environment, the work to enact change becomes possible.

I focus a great deal of my time, professionally and personally, working to educate myself and, in turn, others on ways to best serve and advocate for the transgender community. My goal is to be a resource, a safe space, and an ally. I work with adolescents and adults and with family members who are striving to support their loved ones.

Making an adoption plan for a child, deciding to adopt a child, navigaing the adoption process, and adjusting to having changed the structure of your family are all difficult and nuanced experiences that may generate unexpected emotions. I utilize personal and professional experience with adoption to help clients with whatever issues may arise as a result of this difficult and wonderful process.

As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I am personally invested in the well-being of others in the community. I work with clients on issues related to coming out, navigating school and the workplace, interacting with family, and rising above intolerance.
