About My Clients
Are you having a hard time coping with feelings of anxiety and/or depression? Are you a couple feeling intrenched in old patterns but unsure what to do next? You’re not alone. Often, the hardest place to be is feeling stuck and yet helpless to change your situation. I work with individuals and couples to grow their inner strengths, to help them make sense of their feelings and to heal any past trauma that might be keeping them from moving forward.
My Background and Approach
I approach my work holistically, focusing on the specific needs of my clients. One technique I use is Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). EMDR is an evidence-based therapeutic technique used by trained therapists to reduce triggers brought on by painful events. This tool is helpful in calming the intensity of these past events which often leads to less reactivity.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I chose this career path after personally experiencing the healing insight my therapist provided me with. I've been able to use this insight to stop the transmission of intergenerational trauma and enjoy helping others do the same.
